Winter Interlude

What happens when you mix a warm Pacific low front and a cold  Siberian Arctic air mass?
You get snow!

snow on the hawthorn

These were taken by Bruce about midday. Since then it has snow steadily all day and there is a very thick coating on everything.....but its getting dark.  We'll see what it looks like tomorrow when daylight returns.

I don't think any of this bothering Calli !

  1. It sure is beautiful but I don't envy you with those cold temps. Calli seems to be enjoying being inside in the warmth......and looks like she's made herself at home in the new place.

  2. Callie is clearly totally comfortable in the new digs. Hopefully you and Bruce are getting there, too. At least hope you're sleeping as comfortably as the dog. ;-)

  3. Hello Susan,

I so enjoy your blog! Your work is beautiful and I learn from it. I am also inspired by your move as I should have downsized long time ago. This year may be the year :-) Take care, happy weaving in your new lovely studio and happy new year in general.
